A Surprise Proposal at Eklutna Lake
Some couples are so full of light and joy that they practically radiate, and Trevor and Sydnee do exactly that.
Earlier this week, I had the honor of photographing a moment five years in the making. Trevor reached out to me weeks ago, carefully planning the perfect surprise proposal to Sydnee, and it all came together at the beautiful Eklutna Lake. Not only was it a stunning, sunny day, but it also marked five years since they started dating, the perfect time for a new beginning.
As Sydnee turned around and saw Trevor down on one knee, her whole face lit up. She was so excited!!! She was smiling from ear to ear, completely caught up in the joy of the moment. Her reaction was everything: surprised, overjoyed, and absolutely ready to say yes.
Being invited into this milestone was such a gift. Trevor and Sydnee, thank you for trusting me to capture one of the most meaningful moments of your lives. Your love is easy, radiant, and fun, and I can’t wait to watch it keep growing from here.
